The #1 Way To Work For Your Dreams

If you can dream it, you can do it.

Walt Disney

Before I get into the best way to work for your dreams, let me say the one thing that will NOT work: Not showing up. You will never accomplish anything by no-showing. Do what you need to be present, at the moment, in the wave. Weird things happen by simply showing up.

I hear so much that there is a sign when you are in your element, you would know the feeling. There is also another feeling that comes when you begin pushing towards your dreams. That feeling is fear. It can be immobilizing, and it can derail any dream if you allow it.

So, What is the #1 Way?

Take Action During Fear

Fear is a reaction. It is a human emotion to something in your world. I am not saying throw away common sense and caution. Hell, it is a pandemic in the world. Be cautious, wear your mask, wash your hands, and practice social distancing. What I am saying is there is so much fear in the world. My working people who are reading this have to fear every day. Fear of termination. Fear of denial of that promotion. How about that fear that your coworkers may see the real you (for my African Americans, I am talking about you behind the code switch)? The problem behind achieving dreams is that fear is there. With fear, your dreams will remain dreams.

So how do you take action? Take it like skydiving. You pay a lot of money to get on the plane, the gear to jump, and the staff to support you. Are you going to go on an expensive air ride or are you going to jump? Just jump. The chute is going to open.

Here is my big action with fear. December 11th, give it a read. It will be a game-changer for me and what I aspire to be. Ride the wave with me, and push that button!
