Giving Up

I aspire for more, than what I’m destined for. Therefore I must endure, everything that’s laid before me on my path, the good and the bad. Cuz once it’s in my grasp, I’m gonna snatch it, I won’t give it up. – Austin Wyatt

Do not let the title deceive you because life is a fight. I fight until I cannot breathe, I struggle until my struggle cease. I roll until my tires are worn away. I live until my life stops me.

No matter what, remember this and go about your day.

Gameface Part IV – New Passion

I sit and think….why did the iron draw me? Why did after all these years of just working out for the sake of it I chose THIS year to make it the year of a gym rat?

Honestly, I am not exactly a gym rat. It is just a new focus with it. I saw the results come but not at the pace I wanted them to come.

My research led me to AnimalPak.com, Bodybuilding.com, and T-Nation. From there, I’ve been rotating workouts, mixing up a lot of the research to see what works for my body.

Diet
This is the difficult one for me, because I had to shift from eating everything in sight to eating right. True enough, I am not the world’s perfect eater, but I do try to keep it clean. I rather grill than fry, egg whites instead of the yolk, etc. I run through eggs like a knife through butter and I do spend more time cooking. (The lady is definitely happy about this one!!)

Three Day Split – Week 1

Aside from feeling like I was hit by a truck, this workout is great!!! I found it on bodybuilding.com and decided to give it a shot. When you want change and progression, you have to make a change. This made me change the way I worked out, focusing more on nutrition and rest. Instead of pushing 5 or 6 days and killing myself, it is now a 3-day a week routine.

Next is curbing the habits. I’m cutting the fast food completely. I’m considering removing fried foods as well. Pizza Hut, McDonalds, and a few other spots will not see me for a long time.

Part of my New Year’s Resolution was to change inside and out. This is part of it.
Photos will come soon!

If ya Smell…..

Act 1 and Act 2, they don’t matter. The only thing that matters, everyone remembers….Act 3. – The Rock

I remember, growing up, I watched The Rock. I began imitating him, watching his career evolve until his 2003 departure. Anyone who knew wrestling knew The Rock. “The Brahma Bull, The Great One, Mr. Hit it Strong, Hit it Fast, even in movies, putting his foot up Hollywood’s candy ***.”
Bald and bold, ‘The Great One’ bowed out gracefully and continued his career in acting. I look at him and how his performance was in speaking on camera, performing in front of a crowd, not attempting to pattern him, but to compare passion, drive, focus, and confidence.
The Rock vs Austin Wrestlemania (Behind the Scenes)

This is the video that inspired my thoughts, knowing that it is now what I look at when it comes to being in front of a crowd. Greatness truly has no limits and I tried my best to be just that: great. I expect 100% out of my life and I aim for the best. Go hard or go home is the mentality. I look at my life and all the adversity. All I can do is borrow the words: JUST BRING IT! I write this because I realize now that I embraced this mentality. No matter the fact that I am human and imperfection is true, I never used it as my crutch. Why start now?
