IMAGE - Gateways of Opportunity

The University of Mississippi IMAGE Program is aggressively pursuing minority students interested in the study of science, engineering, and mathematics (SEM) at the baccalaureate level by fostering an environment that supports the total well-being of the student. Based on a rigorous academic program that produces the state's best and brightest, the University's IMAGE Program seeks to open gateways of opportunity to all minority SEM students by providing a host of support services.

Image Alum Jawanda GrantThe goal of IMAGE is to dramatically increase the number of minority students who receive SEM degrees at the undergraduate level. Everything we do is oriented toward striving for excellence, and students who accept the challenge to pursue excellence become IMAGE Scholars. Our goal is to help all IMAGE Scholars graduate with high grades and the ability to succeed in postgraduate studies - thus the name IMAGE, Increasing Minority Access to Graduate Education. If you are looking for an undergraduate program in science, engineering, or mathematics, IMAGE has a place for you.
